LITANIES OF LOVE

Litanies are special prayers, cousins to chant in that they are songs
praising the loveliness of God. They reflect His wondrous melody of
monotony, the ever-repeating rhythm of creation. Litanies are prayers of
life and love. Sing them in your heart.

Laugh of the happy child, sanctify me
Propeller of the timid will, sanctify me
Guide of the perplexed, sanctify me
Eloquence of the awkward, sanctify me
Silence of the babbling soul, sanctify me
Solace of the wounded, sanctify me
Companion of the lonely, sanctify me
Courage of the oppressed, sanctify me

                    and praising You
                    forever and ever,
